I was never a fan of Christian Bale until I saw “The Machinist”. I love psycho thriller films and man, he nailed the character perfectly! From then on, I started watching Christian Bale’s films because I feel that he’s a unique actor. He has different ways in approaching his characters and I always see a different person in each film – from The Machinist to Batman Begins to Harsh Times to Terminator Salvation and Public Enemies! He’s just the best! And oh, Hands down to Christian Bale for The Fighter! This book fairly provided a blow-by-blow information on Christian’s life and filmography. I appreciate and understand that he does not want publicity about his personal life because as an actor, the best thing you could give your family is a simple and quiet life away from the press.
